Hiring Process

CRCM is one of the leading North African political risk research and consulting firms. By examining political, economic, social, and security developments and their impact on the stability of countries, regions, and markets, we help our clients make informed business decisions in countries where understanding the political landscape is critical. Our staff is made up of highly talented, diverse, and motivated people who are dedicated to the company's work. With our office in Frankfurt, we offer exceptional opportunities for individuals at all levels in their careers. Most of our staff is working remotely from their homes or as "digital nomads." Supporting creativity and personal lifestyle gives the team an incredible spirit.

You will receive notification via email to confirm receipt of your application. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis until the position has been filled.
If both your background and skill set match the available position, you may be contacted for a preliminary phone interview. The phone interview is informational and a way for us to learn more about your background, as well as for you to learn more about CRCM and the particular position. Phone interviews last approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Following the phone interview, a determination will be made about advancement to an in-person interview. Finalists are required to take a writing test.

HIRING PROCESS

Things move quickly around here. Our business is constantly expanding. That means we have to be nimble, both in how we work and how we hire. We look for people who are great at lots of things, love big challenges and welcome big changes. We’re looking for people who are good for CRCM — and not just for right now, but for the long term. This is the core of how we hire. Our process is pretty basic; the path to getting hired usually involves a first email conversation with a recruiter and an onsite interview in your country. 
 
We’re looking for people who have a variety of strengths and passions, not just isolated skill sets. 

We also want to make sure that you have the required insight into the political or security sector and the background that will set you up for success in your role. We’re less concerned about grades and transcripts and more interested in how you think. 


We believe that if you hire great people and involve them intensively in the hiring process, you’ll get more great people.

 

Over the past couple of years, we’ve spent a lot of time making our hiring process as efficient as possible - reducing time-to-hire and increasing our communications to candidates. ​
